The Keeper of the Book, a Thought-Provoking Exploration of Faith and Morality

The Keeper of the Book by author Ryland Harris gives readers the space for a thought-provoking exploration of the intersection between belief, ethics, and personal convictions. Harris has created a world where basic religious freedom is taken away from the people. This forces the characters to confront the difficult questions they have about their values and identities.

Throughout the book we find the protagonist’s relentless quest to rescue his family in this world. The novel also explores the themes of justice, revenge, and the limits of human morality in times of crisis. And while the action sequences are undeniably exciting and fast-paced, it is the underlying philosophical depth in my opinion that truly sets this book apart from others. Whether you approach it as a cautionary tale or a thought exercise on the nature of faith, The Keeper of the Book is an amazing read and I highly recommend it.
